Sorry Ritchie, quoting the price in Euro (€6,500) is not sufficient - we need a price in £.

Thanks

Why? Is it a Brexit consequence?

No gordan it's because the euro is not proper money and the reason we never adopted it.:)

OK, Ritchie now has provided a price in Stirling (£5,700) for the drivers, so let's leave it there.

Good luck with the sale.

The price in pounds sterling is not mentioned in the rules, and this is not the first advert to have a price not in pounds sterling.

If it is a requirement, then maybe it should be added to the rules?

My view on this is that, as the rate of currency exchange continually fluctuates, there has to be a fixed price on items advertised for sale, not a continually variable one, as the market demands. That's simply what's most practical.

Therefore, in order for that to happen, one type of currency must be chosen by the seller and used to form the price being asked. Since this is a UK-based forum, and most of our members live in the UK, then prices should be in GBP, Pounds Sterling. It just keeps things simple :)

I shall now add this to the rules for selling.

Marco.

That sounds entirely sensible to me.

Good luck with the sale.

5750 euros at the current exchange rate = quite a lot of pounds...around 5000 of them.
