View Full Version : Paul Hynes PR3 & transformer for Technics 1210
Paul Hynes PR3 and suitable 2x12V 120va toroidal transformer. I was planning to put together a custom PSU for my 1210, but then my son arrived and any time I had for projects has gone right out the window. Put my money down on a Timestep instead.
I believe I paid over £100 for this pair, so I'd really like £60 including UK postage.

Simon,
bearing in mind that a) I can solder b) have a very general idea about the principles of connecting bits of kit together BUT... get a bit lost when people start 'talking electrical'...
What's needed to finish a PSU from this? Are we talking boxed, connect, test and fit? Or more in-depth? If it's the former (and not much more) I may well be interested!

Bear in mind that you will be connecting the transformer to the mains, so if in any doubt get help...or steer clear!
