Saves space?

It says ''Built in Chicago''. Perhaps it should stay there. Novelty value only. :)

I can only think for it to sound any good, it would have to cost much much more than a conventional table, due to the engineering it would require to control vtf and bias. Total bollocks

Dont be to harsh lads , You only need to lay it down and it may sound OK then :)

I can imagine loading the record in is a right pain in the arse.

Yes. You can visualise dropping and damaging LP's.

I know it's early in the morning and I may be a bit thick - but how does the VTF work.....?

It relies on the angle of dangle :).

Surely any self-respecting 2p would fall right off?

I remember their Kickstarter campaign, they use a spring to generate VTF.

Vertical turntable are not a new idea. I seem to recall Optonica (Sharp) and Mitsubishi making them if I'm right, although those had parallel tracking arms I think.

181 reviews and all 5 star - just a sprinkling of 4 star. This chap is so impressed he's given it 4 stars before he's even got it!!

"Seems like they really put in the engineering time into every detail to ensure it worked as good as it looked. I just ordered one, and am looking forward to putting it through its paces with all of my old and new vinyl! -Kent"

Do you think we're all just a bit too picky.......?
