Only One Amp!

I feel a bit strange as I now only have one amp.... it's gone from two valve amps plus a couple of Naim's to just the one Naim as I just sold the XS2

I have stuck with the Supernait 2 as my only amp as I love it to bits but I do find it odd it's the only amp I now own... however 3 pairs of speakers makes me feel better :eek:

To be honest if I had room for a second system I would have kept the XS2 as well

You should give it a go Shane, however the XS2 is also fantastic and I think for the money it really does sound very good indeed and surprised me

It finally came down to me needing the little extra oomph that the SN2 has that I need for the Maggies otherwise it was a very close call

Yes Shane the SN2 is absolutely smoother than the XS2, or any other Naim amp I've demoed

The SN2 sounds quite 'grown up' if that makes sense..

Just realised I also have 4 cd players as well... I really should sell 3 of them as I now only use the Naim CD5XS + Naim Dac
