What pot to adjust volume of single driver in loudspeaker?

I want to trim and balance the volume of the mid range driver of my 3 way speakers. I think a potentiometer is what is needed, but which one? The driver to be adjusted is about 6 ohms.

Thanks Dazz. I take it if my driver is 6 ohms then 8 ohms is the closest L Pad and will be fine.

Out of interest, when the driver volume is optimised can I measure the two resistances in the L Pad and replace with a pair of high quality resistors?

Someone here may know if a 6 ohm version exists anywhere.


... and yes I imagine you could replace it with fixed resistors (of sufficient power rating).
