Hi all (boa tarde a todos if you insist)
I'm a Brit retired in the Algarve for some years. Have joined AOS for various discussions on Taket-BATPURE supertweeters with which I am contemplating a punt.
Otherwise active(-ish) on PFM, Devialet Chat and Squeezebox forum.
System summary is as follows:-
Server = iMac 5K Sierra -> Bootcamp 6.0 -> W10 (dBpoweramp ripping / MediaMonkey management)
Router = Huawei B593 4G + repeaters
Lounge = SBT / LP12 / MF X-Ray -> Devialet D200 -> Dynaudio Contour 1.8 MkII
Covered terrace = SBT -> AudioEngine A5+
Study = SBT -> NAD D3020 -> Epos K1
Kitchen + bedroom = SB Radio
Garage = SB2 -> Rotel RA820BX2 -> MA252
Despite what many of you might think, Portugal is not always the land of eternal sunshine. We're now into day 10 of torrential rain, high winds and general mayhem, but after a year of drought and some terrible wild-fires it's kind of welcome. Light the log-burner, pour a glass of non-too-shabby Portuguese red and then decide whether the mood is for jazz (modern/contemporary/nu), new prog or electronic, and kick back. Leaning towards some Panic Room right now . . . :)
