Lee speakers

A colleague at work has found an old pair of speakers in the loft of a new house he has just bought . He reckons they are quite old and have the serial number '001'
On the back manufacture information states Lee Speakers , 400 Edgeware Road , London . He wants to know if they're worth saving.
Anyone ever heard of this speaker manufacturer , or have any information on this brand .

Sorry Geoff , we're both at work and the speakers are at his home . We're not allowed mobiles or cameras at my place of work so it's unlikely I'll be able to get photos .

Lee Electronics did quite a few speakers ranging from small bookshelf models, often with a Goodmans 6" bass unit, to a large free-standing using an EMI 14" x 9" and a KEF T27. They also sold the Sonetone Solent bookshelf speaker.

You're welcome, I've also remembered that the large floorstander with EMI 14"x9" and KEF T27, was a Hi Fi news design.
