View Full Version : Townshend Rock Elite black ash plinth & smoked lid.

After converting my Townshend Rock TT I now have no use for the plinth & lid, therefore I am offering them here.
The plinth is in black ash & in great condition with hinges intact, the lid is smoked gray & again in terric shape, with no chips or cracks & no major scratches, just some small polishing swirls that will easily polish out but are not really noticeable if you are not bothered. The bottom board has 3 Michell feet added.
I am offering them together for £125 plus postage, which I think will be around £11. I don't have a printer so I am unable to use most couriers, although I prefer Parcelforce anyhow, but they are a little dearer than others.

Collection is also welcome, or maybe I could take to Kegworth if that suits.

Not only are these vanishingly rare, but they are usually spoiled by a yucky yellow lid or tacky gold stripe. This one is the best of the best. If it was on Ebay Auction, I reckon it would go for way more,

The "tacky gold stripe" is original spec for these and I fel makes it look nicer. I bought mine in 1987 at the price the op is asking now. A great price for what is indeed a rare item.

Thanks for the positive comments guys, I know I would get more were I to ebay it but thought I would offer it here first before I do that.

Typically I’ve just sold my rock 2. , otherwise I would have bought it sharpish!
