Hello all - new member from the Lone Star State. I'm having KAB modify a Technics to join my system - my first vinyl deck since the mi-80s! I looked into VPI and Rega, but the ease of use and functionality of a friend's KAB Technics seduced me into that route! ;) I also have a Denon 103 on the way - probably due to arrive this evening or tomorrow, and that will be sent on to Zu for their modification. I owned a 103 back years ago, and remember that sound fondly. This forum is a goldmine of information - thanks for the good stuff!

I need to figure out how to post my system...it's mostly from Decware (tubed integrated and phono stage, ERR speakers, Oppo universal player). Also have a Cinemag SUT on the way from a friend (if he ever can get around to shipping it!).

Lots of '60s-'80s rock, '50s and '60s jazz and R&B, baroque and Renaissance music. I particularly like the classic vocalists of the pop 'n jazz era - Ella, Billie, Johnny Hartman. Lots of classic Atlantic and Stax, old honky tonk and C&W.
