Not sure if this is the right section but though all AV guys would know the @nswer. Can you buy flat coax cable to go under say carpet? I have seen satellite cable with bnc coonections but I would have thought I could remove @nd fit standard tv. Any info would be helpful.

Not much help, but I've never seen coax (whether for tuner, TV or satellite etc.) which was otherwise than round. If you've a carpet, it'll presumably have underlay. You can cut a groove in this for the cable. This is what I've done for long lengths of interconnect cable, only slightly smaller than coax (and there are two of them). The very word 'coaxial' suggests it must be circular (central core+ insulator + screen).

I have no experience of these - but I have my doubts as to their efficacy.
