Front end is mainly digital via a Mac Mini,Amarra and an Apogee DAC.Turntables are a Garrard 401,Technics SP10 Mk2 with Jelco 12" arm and an Ortofon SPU,EAR 834P with a heavily modded Paul Hynes pre (LDR volume etc)

Yes... Keith does, nice guy imho.
Welcome to AoS.
Some nice photos of your set up would be appreciated..stick them in the Gallery section of the forum.
What kind of music do you like ?
Must say I like the 6B4G sound, all the delicacy of a 2A3 but more weight and scale/balls. I did a comparison once between Audio Innovations 2nd audio's 6B4G version against the later 2A3 version. In the context of my upstairs system I preferred the 6B4G amp.

Ha I'm a bloke we dont hoover,do we ?
The 6B4G's are Guys old amps which he made for some "Big Fun Horns" when he was at JPW,very interesting history, look forward to listening to them awaiting a couple of valves from Adam.
Cheers
Rob

You beat me to the joke! (people still say "do the hoovering" don't they - I bet 80% of us have Dysons - "I've been Dysoning" doesn't sound the same, does it?)
Welcome to another 401 owner, though I doubt yours is the embarrassment to the legend mine is... I have no experience of your other kit, so yes, some photos would be nice if you can manage.
Enjoy AoS, I'm sure we are more friendly than any other forum! :ner: ;)
Hi Rob and welcome, i liked Guys 6b4g'sd at the show they certainly seem a good match for horns
Hi Rob, welcome to AoS :)
