View Full Version : Z-Sleeve obliterates EMI contamination

Audiocom are now stocking the excellent Z-Sleeve products, the Z-Sleeves Extra Heavy & new version Elite Z-Sleeve.
A Z-SLEEVE is a ZERO GAUSS Tube that slips over a cable. The tube creates an internal magnetic null area that completely obliterates EMI contamination.
The Z-SLEEVE reduces distortion, and focuses the signal just before it goes into the speaker or receiving component. It does this through passive organisation of the concentric magnetic field surrounding, and propagated by the speaker cable’s signal.
The Z-Sleeve Extra Heavy is priced £249.00 + VAT, the premium Elite version is £345.00 + VAT.

Hi Dave
This review goes in to some depth as to how the Z-Sleeves work;

This review was 2004, the new version Z-Sleeve Extra Heavy & Elite no longer use ERS material.

Hi Ali
A ZERO GAUSS chamber creates an internal magnetic null area, it absorbs EMI/RFI.

So what you're selling is effectively a screen...?

Hi
Sounds like some kind of degausing coil powered by induced speaker signal,perhaps.
Dave.
If it's wide enough I do believe that if you run a "hot wheels" track through it you may or
may not get some acceleration to your car.

Hi
A detailed explanation of how the Z-Sleeves work can be found here;

Cheers,

Well that's it then too narrow ,I was kind of hoping DSJR would do a few timed runs
maybe average 10 runs down the track with and without the Z-Sleeve ,then flip the
Z-Sleeve around and run the car through against the arrow.

You may have found a new application for the Z-Sleeve, then again you might be on the wrong forum;
