Linn Kan II + Original Stands - Excellent - Bristol Collection Only Sorry

Hi ,

I have an excellent pair of Linn Kan II with original stands for sale. I bought them last September from the original owner. Both speakers and stands are in timewarp condition and the sound is crisp and accurate.

Sorry but if anyone is interested I would only be willing to sell to someone who is prepared to visit BS5 to inspect , demo and pay cash on collection if all is to their satisfaction. I just don't want the hassle of doing things any other way!

I will of course be happy to send pics to someone if they are genuinely interested in viewing with a serious intention to buy in the manner stated above!

From the pics these look like the last incarnation of the Kan II with the raised tweeter and ku stone cabinet loading. Probs have a later serial number of 45000+

If so, I'd say these are worth significantly more than is being asked. The speakers alone are worth asking price and more all day long and the stands go for well over £100 these days.

Somebody is getting a gift!

I thought I had a fair amount of kit but your collection is really cool, from post-war bakelite radios right up to Squeezebox mini-amps and streamers :)

If anyone's thinking of buying from Rob I can heartily recommend him as a straight-up, honest guy.
We played around with some vintage Tannoys and I had a listen of his beautiful Puresound valve amp which sounded gorgeous.
You know how you can tell when someone's very particular about his equipment ? Well, that was the impression I got from him immediately on being welcomed in.
