I might try this setup for spotify / tunein radio.

The voice control is tne interesting bit for me.
I have an amazon echo which is very good, but not linked to hifi as no digital output.

Any experiences?
Ease of use?
Relability?
(Need to setup and forget.... or mess around in settings etc every week trying to fix things. Ie need streaming for spotify and radio on hifi for tnose with poor eyesight).
Quality? (I use airport express to hifi and quite happy with quality)

Thanks

if u want to keep with your echo, then add an echo dot. it has audio out. works with spotify too. and will work in conjunction with your echo

Unfortunatel it is only analogue out, and apparantly not great.
Hence thinking of chromecast audio which has optical out.

Yes, for about 6 months using it with an adaptor for dig out. i think it is very good for the £20 I paid.
