Just in case anybody was starting to think I am only on this forum to sell things...

This is a project I have been doing on and off for a couple of years, although it starts a lot longer ago than that. To improve the vertical integration of my speakers I decided to change my 200hz LCleach horn from round to oval. These are the prototypes I made. I have laminated them from birch ply ( utilising my offcut stock). These are 200hz horns too, approximately 700mm deep.
Before I could build them, I had to build a cnc router, and learn how to program in 3D NC code too.
They have been sat in this unfinished state from just before Xmas, as I have been ill since, with a chest infection and do not want to make it worse currently rasping and sanding, which is frustrating.

Very interesting Steve, what drivers are using. So did you CNC slices of ply and then glue together.

Paul, exactly as you described. Using dowels for transferable datums to allow me to machine both sides.
Intending to use the JBL 2482’s in these as they currently my midrange compression driver of choice covering 300hz to about 1800hz where the Beyma TPL’s kick in.

Well, when I saw these I thought total respect for what you have accomplished, but they do like a pair of vaginas.

Are you also goinf to make some rear bass ports? I am very intrigued as to what they might look like. :booty:

Wow! That is some beautiful craftsmanship! Kudos! I’m not sure if it’s the aforementioned vaginal shape, but they are damn sexy!
