Just thought this might be a useful buying guide for folks (scroll down for list): https://www.whathifi.com/features/4k-ultra-hd-blu-ray-all-4k-discs-sale-and-coming-soon

So what's going to be added to you shopping list? :)

Marco.

Great link 'dat Marco, will be looking in on that list.
Currently have on 4K HDR:

Batman Begins
The Dark Knight
Dark Knight Rises
Blade Runner Final Cut 4 Disc boxset
Blade Runner 2049
Man of Steel
Superman V Batman Dawn of Justice
Close Encounters of the Third Kind 40th Anniversary Edition.
Interstellar
Inception
Leon the Professional
Oblivion
Pacific Rim
Promethius
Starship Troopers
Terminator 2
Wonder Woman

Mostly big blockbustery/ Scifi films I guess, (I have other types of movies too on Bluray) but as well as being great movies I like, these kind of visual films really lend themselves to the 4K format on a big telly.

Definately on the shopping list going forward:

Cloverfield
Gladiator
Independance Day (yes!)
Neon Demon
Dredd (yes!)
Fifth Element
Sicario
Bram Stokers Dracula

Buying 4K movies is an interesting one?
A bit of an investment so you need to be a bit more discerning in choosing really.

Like the film...check.
Is it worth it over the cheaper Bluray...much better picture, extra extras, better soundtrack...check.
Is it one of your watch again and again movies...check.

Not all 4K HDR disks are noticably better than the Blurays so always worth looking into, especially if your player of TV can upscale 1080p to 4K.

This weekends treat is Blade Runner 2049...been waiting 30 yrs to see this.
No expectations...honest Guv. :eyebrows:

Picked up another two (Damn you Amazon for 1 click buying..)

Sicario
Independence Day

Interestingly, the ID4 is a 2 disc version, loads of extras 'natch but an extended Directors cut of the film.
Cool - like this film and be good to see a different version of it.

The visuals in 4k should be crackin', coming tomorrow.
