New stylus or new cartridge?

Hi,

I have a Linn Adikt cart that I am pretty sure is due a new stylus, this is a cart I really enjoy and as it was a gift from my other half I shall not be letting it go, but! In my mind is the question, as a new stylus is going to cost me £200 is there a better sounding cart for the same price? My instincts tell me probably not as £200 for a cart is not a great deal of money.

It's to go on a stock 1210.

Have a chat with the Expert Stylus Company they maybe able to fit a new stylus for half the price.

I'm just about to send a Philips GP390 low output ceramic for retipping with a Paratrace stylus the last one cost me approx £87.
