Quad S-2 Speakers & Quad 405 amp (recapped, rewired, phonos and 1v input sensitivity)

Pair of Quad S-2 Speakers for sale.

They were purchased last spring, liked them so much that I bought some Z3s to replace my Meridian 5200s, but preferred the S-2s over the Z3s, the integration between mid and tweeter works better on the S-2's.

Then bought some Harbeths but again preferred the S-2s.

They really are superb speakers but I converted the office to a playroom so no use for them now. I was just going to keep them 'in case', but seems silly really.

Boxed with unused grilles, all manuals etc.

I guess I may as well let one of the the modded Quad 405s go too, I have two of them. I bought this as rewired, recapped, new opamps and input sensitivity adjusted to 1v (or 1.5v) and 220kOhms impedance to make it easier to partner with modern, pre amps, dacs etc.

I paid £300 for this a few months back, so would like to get £250 delivered.
