Next up in my relocation sale is an EAR 834P MC/MM Phono Preamp.
I bought this direct from TDP at his workshop and chatted whilst he fitted the volume control on this unit. I still have the original box.
This is in excellent condition (see photos) and has had little use since my vinyl and vinyl equipment has been in storage for much of the last 20 years. However, I thought it prudent to replace the original tubes. I have just fitted a matched set of new Sovtek 12AX7LPS valves and to my ears, these sound better than the original stock tubes.
An identical unit was advertised on AOS just before Christmas at £800 and IIRC sold pretty quickly. I am asking for £700 in the hope of a quick sale. Collection preferred but willing to ship at cost using purchasers preferred service.
