Is anyone else intending going to this show at the Park Inn, Heathrow, on 27/28 March? I will be going on the Saturday and will be happy to meet up with any other AoSers wanting a chat and a beer.

Hi Martin,

I might be going, but what's pissed me off is that they've moved it back to the shitty Park Inn again, when last year (adequate directions inside aside) Whittlebury Hall was a much nicer and higher quality venue, no doubt because the organisers caved into pressure from folk who don't think life exists beyond the bloody M25!! :steam:

Hi Marco

According to the Chester website, Whittlebury Hall will also be running on 25/26 September.

I shall probably be going, as it's only twenty miles from here. The main attraction is always browsing the LPs for sale, but that aside something always stands out. I'm meandering towards buying a new amplifier too, so hopefully there will be plenty to see and hear, inasmuch as you can at these events.

Hi Marco

Ah, that's cool... I thought that's where the 'London show' was being officially held now - I didn't realise they were splitting it between two venues :)

Chester Group have been running 2 shows in London for some time now. The smaller one, a specialist 2 channel Audio show has always been at the Park Inn at the beginning of April. The larger, more general show was also held at the Park Inn in September until last year when it was moved to Whittlebury Hall (a nicer venue imho)

The hotel has parking if you drive around the back, then over a bridge that runs over the Heathrow access spur. It's all signposted.
