I am trying to install vortexbox on a old laptop running windows 10 .I have created a bootable usb installed vortexbox but nothing is showing when computer reboots ,I have been into disc managment to check and there is no 4gb section there any ideas its version 2.4

might have to set pc to boot from usb first. other thing is did you use something like win32disc to make the bootable usb

done all that after install it says remove usb and reboot but it does not show the 4gb partition that it should create? even been through disc managment.

if the usb is showing empty then its not worked is all i can think. you might not be able to see whats on it but it should register as being there

the usb is supposed to install a 4 gb partition on main drive then you go I to that and set up vortex

have you got view hidden items ticked when looking for it? go to drive then click view at top then tick hidden. might be hidden

some pcs dont like booting off of a usb. ive got one that just wont do it. can you put the boot prog initally on a blank dvd? and boot from that
