My Kudos Cardea C30 floorstanders in Ebony Macassar finish. £1,650 firm.
They are just about mint condition and come with original packaging/boxes.
There are plenty of reviews out there. I have been very impressed with them. Only selling as I bought a pair of Adam Tensor Gammas from an AOS member and they are sensational.

They only came with grills for the lower driver unit from new on this model.

Correction. Ignore that last comment; I’m talking rubbish. They do come with additional grill fronts and I think I must have removed them from day one and forgot! I’ll have a hunt around and see if I can find them.

I have the Kudos Cardea C2 and very very pleased with them. The C30 will be even better with immense scale and delivery and yet with a highly refined musicality. An open window.
The Kudos Cardeas have magnetic grills and I'm sure Kudos will be able to supply them at a reasonable cost.
If it were not for the fact I have (at least!) three sets of speakers I would be driving down to Hove in the morning to pick these up. And to have a listen to the Adam speakers. :eyebrows:

Just noticed it has a rear port, I had assumed with the plinth it had the bottom port like Edward's Kudos, I'll have to have a think.

They have down firing ports onto the plinths as well. I had them close to a wall and they don't seem to be too fussy about placement.

interesting to revisit tonight paul messngers reflections in hi fi critic jan -march 2009 where je compares and contrasts with the pmc1b2i . he writes the c30`s sheer realism is thoroughly engrossing , thanks to its fine timing

In the Windsor show late last year there were two or three rooms that had the Kudos Titan speakers. One set were actively powered. Absolutely magnificent.
Kudos certainly know their onions and punch far above their weight.

A quick update:
I can confirm I have the covers for the upper drivers. They were in the original boxes/packaging. They are in perfect condition. I have never used them.

I'd be very surprised to find an alternative of equivalent sound quality at this price.... they are very dynamic with plentiful bass and a lovely open midrange/treble without a hint of harshness.
OK, could do with these being shifted now. Price drop to £1,575.00

Sorely tempted but concerned about the rear port given I have to place them close to the wall. Have you tried them with the rear port bunged, does it tame the bass a fair bit? Do you have the bungs, I'm sure a review mentioned them, to make the port effectively smaller?
I've never had any bungs in the rear ports although I did use them within 8-10 inches of my lounge wall. They have down-firing ports as well.

These would be for London so not as bad, but I would have to hear them in my room to commit which wouldn't be practical especially as I don't drive!
