I generally don't hold with bringing in stuff from other forums, but thought this might be of interest:

Yup ! Saw that, but there's no follow-uo post (yet?).
Are they really the greatest thing since sliced bread? The vendor seems utterly convinced !
One thing I've never understood is how anyone can hope to sell something like vintage speakers without pictures!! :mental:
Eatons are good, but hardly state-of-the-art. Hi-fi Dave's and DSJR's views on them would be more definitive than mine :)

Not me. I'm sadly lacking in the vintage Tannoy department. I have modern Tannoy Prestige and vintage 3LZ and LGM. DSJR is the one.
Where is DSJR when you need him ?
Eatons were the little 10" HPDs down from the Devons, were they not? :)

Sadly PFM selling posts don't support pictures img or otherwise, though you can link to photobucket or the like of site.

Really?? I didn't know that... Seems a bit restrictive. My apologies go to the seller, 'Barrymidd'.
Marco.
Eatons were a bit small and "squeaky" when compared to Devons, which I personally very much preferred.
Long time ago for me though (1975)
