WTD - Blu Ray player

My blu ray player has just decided to stop playing sound.
So before I go out and buy one just wondered if anyone had one collecting dust they don’t use anymore.

have u tried another hdmi cable?

Yes tried three different cables and every option in the settings menu. Plugged it into every hdmi device I’ve got and it is as silent as the grave. No idea what has caused it.

check tv settings that it is set to output at speakers. check blueray is outputting pcm. if another hdmi unit is working on the tv through that port it would seem the problem must be a fault in the player. double check tv settings for hdmi inputs etc just in case
