For sale are a pair of Martin Logan SL3 electrostatic speakers in excellent condition. I have been using them bi-wired into a Quad 34 and a 405-2. They of course do not need to be bi-wired.

I would like £950 for the SL3s.

Each speaker comes in its own individual box. There is also a manual. Please collect them from near the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in London.

The speakers are 5ft 8' tall and you can add another inch for the box.

Hi Jack

How old are these speakers , are you the original owner , any repairs / servicing ever done ?

I have not owned ML speakers before but do own 57 and 63 Quads

They were made in April 1996, according to their serial numbers.

Bought them 3 years ago from a dealer in Essex via another audio forum. I don't think they have been serviced, because they haven't needed to be.

Was thinking about getting some Quad 63s, when I saw an advert for the Martin Logans. Picked them up from the dealer's storage unit prior to listening to them. Got them back home, plugged them in and was gobsmacked at how great they are at reproducing sound.

I'd been using Shahinian Arcs and have had various Naim and Linn speakers. In many ways the SL3s are superior I reckon, although the Arcs are special as well.
