Just done the equivalent of a Christmas toy without batteries for my son this Christmas having got him a Rega Planar 1 to use with his KEF LS500 wireless.

Looking for a cheap and cheerful phono stage to get him up and running if there are any lying around out there?

.sjbHave a word with Firebottle. He was selling a MK1 OTP for around £100 recently. That would be a very good purchase.

I'm thinking of something a bit cheaper for a £250 turntable.

Hoping that some Rega, Cambridge, Project, NAD stages are out there surplus to requirements.

Rega Fono MM or, if really on a tight budget, the Rega Fono Mini.
