I just found this site and thought I would drop by. I mostly lurk, but every so often I do get a wild hair up my ass and decide to actually post, if I think I can add anything helpful. Mostly though, I just listen and learn.

Hi Mike!
Welcome to the Art of Sound. Don't be shy now!
How's Alabama today - have you got some of that icy weather they're having elsewhere or are those winds blowing out by the time they get that far south?
The questions we'd all like you to answer are about the gear you use & what your musical preferences are! Pictures are always good, too, so you could put some up in the Gallery if you have any.
Once again, welcome!
Cheers

Thanks for the welcome, guys. We got some of the snow and ice in Huntsville and, man, was it ever cold. Not cold like up north, but then I spent the last 9 years in sunny Orlando, so cold is a relative term. I was out of work for the first 6 months of last year and took a job up here in Huntsville out of sheer desperation. I brought some of my gear and music and rented an apartment up here. Bought a pair of Dynaco A25s for speakers and bought a bunch of Ikea Lack tables to use as supports for the speakers and my gear. Not as comfy as home, but you do what you gotta do. Just ordered a phono pre from Vista Audio. I am a classic rock kind of guy and , yeah, "Second Helping" is my kind of music :). Look in the Gallery and the System pages and you can see how I had my stuff set up in Orlando. The next big thing, whenever I get some more play money, will probably be a set of Reynaud Duet loudspeakers. Again, thanks for the welcome.
Hi Mike and welcome, get stuck in as it were
Howdy back at ya! ;)
Enjoy!
