Hey folks, Alan here , Glasgow.

System is Technics 1210's MK3 x 2 , (1 is audiophile set up in making). Onkyo a9155 Amp, Cambridge Audio DacMagic, Denon DCD590 CD, Pi Streamer off a Synology NAS system, Carts include Stanton 505, iTrack and Ortofon Red 2m. DALI Zensor 3 Speakers, Audioquest Evergreen interconnects throughout. For (previously/occasionally still Djing) I also run Traktor + Vinyl so have KRK's as monitors plus some Ableton/Reason kit kicking around.

Joining really to get help and inspiration regards my Techy upgrades - right now im adding a Timestep HEIII power supply.. but hiting problems il mention in forum (but if anyone has done it recently let me know).
Music wise .. broad but real love of Elctronica (inc Good detroit/chicago techno and house), god Prog rock, some old skool country and rock and basically anything that is well produced and musical. Love soundtracks from the likes of John Carpenter and Hans Zimmer.

When im not listening to music usually you can find me high up a mountain , hopefully hanging on by an ice axe

A warm welcome. Bringing back good memories of 'Joy' Friday night at the Sub Club back in the day. Danny Tenaglia's 6 hour set at the Tunnel. Friends at 23rd Precinct and Rub-a-Dub in Paisley. Buying shed loads of vinyl. And not forgetting Kraftwerk at Barrowlands - class. Bumping into Orde (Slam boys) at B&Q (!) and thanking him for 'Positive Education' - a track that's as good as any Detroit / Chicago track. The list goes on....
