I placed an order with them over a week ago and got an automated reply.

Since then I've had nothing further and no reply to email.

Tried on the phone several times this afternoon - ringing out.

I know they aren't a big outfit and I've had no hassles in the past but it's a bit irritating.

Anyone else having comms issues?

(Mercury is retrograde the wife tells me so that may explain things of course ...)

They didn't correspond with me at all when I ordered with them but the valves did arrive!

Ditto Bigman

I ordered valves from them, no correspondence but valves arrived about a week later.

If communication turns out lacking in the end. Leave them bad feedback.

Well my five Tesla PCC88's finally arrived but I had a sense of foreboding when they got here as they were packed in a thin padded envelope, rather than boxes, so who knows what kind of trip they have had?

And sure enough when I put them in, I was getting oscilation/noise from one channel (sending the meters on my EAR 912 haywire). I swapped things around and put an original Tim de P PCC88 in in one spot and it seemed to calm things down, but I think the fault must be intermittent as it came back when I switched the amp on again from cold.

All was restored to normality when I put all 5 original valves in. So the fault is somewhere in the new set.

Very disappointing - I'm sending them back, though I haven't had any sort of reply from Watford valve since I informed them. I have to say their performance is pretty poor in responding to all of this, not a peep back from when I first reported it a few days ago.
