If using this site is as complicated as it appears - trying to find the Welcome page - then I'll probably never get to find out how to start my thread so here goes with the intro. and the thread:- I have an H5 and two B77's. I am currently in Gibraltar but return to Ibiza in February. I am a 64 year old yacht captain who has come to terms with the fact that while technology has helped us no end in the medical world and the Internet for example everything else is soleless crap. Hence my return to Reel to Reels, a 1985 BMW R80RT and a 1982 Mercedes WDB123 230 CE. On the way to my apartment, a pair of Mission 752 floor standing speakers ex eBay.

The reason for joining this forum is to find out if any of you chaps (and, yes, woman and the new wave of indeterminate sex) know of a business or fellow (or other sex) in the U.K. or near la Rochelle, France, who can repair my H210 non functioning controller sold to me by a crook through eBay? Best wishes to you all.

You'll soon get the hang of things here Shaun :). Welcome to AOS.

I take it your H120 is the Fisher item? Try starting a thread in the 'Past Masters' section outlining the problem.

Here: http://theartofsound.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?5-Past-Masters

I like your taste in bikes and cars by the way.

Have a look around the site, you'll find all aspects of Hi-Fi are covered and there's music chat too. Feel free to join in.

Enjoy the forum,
Geoff.

Hi Shaun,

Welcome to AoS! I share your views on technology and approve of some of your 'vintage choices'! :)

Complicated trying to find the Welcome section?

Oh look, here it is, right at the top of the homepage, entitled "Welcome, say hello before joining": http://theartofsound.net/forum/forum.php Lol.... How did you miss it? ;)

Always access the forum from the homepage.

Marco.

If you get a bit lost negotiating the site. Clicking on the banner at the top of each page will take you back to the Homepage. Then you can start again!

Yes, good tip, Geoff. The key when navigating the site is to always start from the homepage, rather than jumping in from somewhere else :)
