I'm not sure this qualifies as an amazing tweak but it's certainly a handy bargain.
Always nice to be able to see what's going on with the needle.

I've got mine clamped to a glass shelf after removing the wee flappy bit from the clamp and I'm loving it.
Has battery or usb power depending on your preference or liking.

I used to have a lamp like that for my turntable but my wife bought me one of these for christmas and it is far superior - cool and warm light settings and low and high power setting.
