Hello everyone,

I'm a weary young dad who enjoys listening to hifi mostly in winter once the kids are asleep. I've accumulated some floorstanding speakers that are difficult for little people to knock over, a valve pre and power with no valves visible nor electrocutable by little fingers, a dodgy AR The Turntable that sounds awesome when it doesn't sound wobbly and a DAC or two. I love how music sounds more real on vinyl, but listening to the Chord Hugo last year was very impressive. I love opera, piano recordings, electronic music, Gilles Peterson etc.

Thank you,

Wojtek

Hi Wojtek. Welcome to AOS.

Loads of vinyl fans here, so you'll be in good company.

If you have future plans for your Hi-Fi if any we'd like to hear about them.

There's a lot going on here, so take a look around and feel free to join in any chat that appeals to you.

Enjoy the forum,
Geoff.

Enjoy the forum,

Thanks Geoff! As a matter of fact, I’m about to seek counsel about whether I have toasted my preamp with some old headshell leads which I tweaked after changing a cartridge whilst everything was switched on.. it’s all gone a little noisy.
