Wanted: Sansui vintage receiver (tuner-amp)

I'm looking for a Sansui vintage receiver of the high power variety such as models 9090, G-901, G-9000, 9900Z, 22000 and 33000. Please private message me if you can help. Thanks.

I owned a Sansui 8080db in the 90s and sadly passed it on a few years before the vintage market really took off.
If you manage to track something down I would strongly advise you to check out the dial illumination.
A problem shared across old sansui's is dry joints on the lamp boards causing light dropouts....makes em look gash.

This is caused by the excessive heat put into the curcuit boards by the fuse style lamps carried...at least 4 of them...and no venting on the plastic housing.
I solved constant dropouts on mine by resoldering all the joints (there are lots) and drilling plenty of holes in the casing to relieve the the heat buildup.

Of course you could always order a LED lamp kit from the states....they loved these monsters and there are lots of replacement parts and cap upgrade kits available.
