Might be some under selling here, don't these have AlNiCo magnets on the mids? And possibly two level HF and MF settings for room adjustment?

Gosh, I bet these sound great.
I've not heard this model, but a standmount pair of Hecos at the Scalford Show a few years ago had me jawdropped at the naturalness of the sound. Not at all what I was expecting!
GLWS.

Heard these at the last bake-off and Steve’s gaff I’m not easily pleased as regards sound but I’m not just saying it and Steve’s not paying me these are by a country mile the most natural and coherent sound I’ve heard absolutely stunning in every way.If I hadn’t of bought my kudos early this year I would have been all over Steve’s heco good luck with the sale

I would consider taking a suitable smaller floor standing speaker as part exchange. I am only selling these beauties because I will be moving to a smaller gaff.

Knocking a ton off these as I really need to get some smaller ones. Now £1450.
Yes lovely speakers these. Surprised no one has nabbed them

Moving gaff soon to a smaller one so i have to part with these beauty's. I will let them go for £1350 before i trade them in or swap for smaller floor standers. buyer must collect though as shipping will cost a bloody fortune.

Same as this.
Being a very happy current owner of the smaller, stand mount Heco 300's and knowing how good they are, I can only imagine how good these must be.
Trouble is, they and I wouldn't fit in my listening room at the same time :(

Believe me, it's breaking my heart parting with them. But we really have to downsize. I'm selling other bit and bob's too as i know i won't have room in a smaller place. The Heco Statement's are the best speakers i have owned since my B&W 801's croak a few years back.

I still have these rather wonderful speakers for sale and knocking them down to £1.050. You won't get anything like these speakers for this price. Due to various prsonal reasons i must sell these speakers in order to acquire smaller devices which are easier for me to move etc.
I can't believe these haven't been long gone Steve.
I'd have them off you myself, if I had the funds.
Fantastic speakers at a really good price.
If you are still looking for smaller speakers, I really recommend the same as I have....Ruark Equinox. Thats if you can find a good pair, I've owned quite a few speakers in my time and they are easily the best I've ever owned.
I had B&W 804S before the Equinox and I thought the 804S's were an end game speaker. The Ruark Eqinox easily beat them for pure sound quality.
You can pick a pair up for £500-£700, depending on condition.......worth every penny.
I'll wager the Heco's will give them a good run though.

Shame these aren't in a light wood finish, I'd be very seriously tempted.
Look like a great speaker at a really good price!
Baffling they haven't sold.

Me too Jerry this is a silly price a give away really. One hell of a lot of speaker for the dosh. They are immaculate too. Most importantly they sound great.

PLEASE, SOMEONE BUY THESE SPEAKERS!
I was sorely tempted two years ago, but money was tight (when isn't it?), and when it all went quiet I felt some relief as I could go back to thinking about other things. Now the ad is back!
Right now I'm looking across at Mrs. P, and wondering how I can say the words without causing WW3. My own fault for being a lazy arse and not trying hard enough to sell an amp that I threw a grand at last year. Doing that would put me in a stronger position, but it may be too late.
If someone would take a punt on these, and for whatever reason (too big, too shiny, too good) it doesn't work out, I PROMISE I will take them off your hands at this price :) But if it turns out that you love them, at least I can go back to contemplating my bowel movements and other important stuff.
GLWS Steve :)

Come on brave the motorway. I will even make you lunch ha ha
I think that if you have the passion, and feel confident about the product it is worth the effort.
I very nearly did all the van hiring stuff to go with a friend to North Wales, near Port Merion, to audition a pair of ADAM Tensor Alphas, (I have the Betas), and this would have involved two days travel with overnight board for two, plus all meals, and a lot of driving to get a pair of speakers which weigh 154kg each.
I would have had two separated auditions, one at the end of arrival, and another the following day when fresher, and then have to decide on the basis of that whether to part with about £15k.
In the end I chickened out, thinking that they were bloody massive, and that it was an obscenity.

I've seen that picture of your "single speaker dem room" (Linn would never have allowed you to dem their turntables in there back in the 80's). And there is a Heco Statement-shaped space in front of your TV. You did say you only watch MOTD on it anyway, and that's not proper telly :ner:

Won't some specialist courier pick these up, pack them and get them to someone?
Even if it costs loads at this price it'd be worth it.

I don't know how to feel about this. Relief probably. And a bit sorry to have missed out, but as the old saying goes, Procrastination is the thief of good hifi deals. The new owner will have a lot of speaker for the money, and if he decides to sell them on at a later date (I'm hoping he's a box-swapper), I will be right here waiting :)
