This is totally impossible. GotItWrongAgain-pedia clearly states that "As of 2010 the entire Diamond 800 series lineup has been discontinued as stated on their website due to low volume sales"

However, back in this dimensional timeline, it is interesting to see that the new lineup doesn't appear to include the 800 or 801, just the 802, 803, 804, and 805. However, at least these will still be built in their UK factory, rather than in China (not that I have anything against the B&W owned factory in China).

That said, I was never happy with the modern bastard son of the original two meter tall Matrix 800's, which should never have been discontinued IMO. And of course the 801 has had a controversial life, so in a way I'm not surprised to see it go, especially as it needed a large room to work properly.

That leaves the new 802 as B&W's statement product, which does surprise me. I sincerely hope that b&W have a new statement product up their sleeves, hopefully an updated version of their original magnificent Matrix 800. Edit: Sorry, my bad, I think they still make the Nautilus.

I should state that I have a vested interest in B&W, as I own five pairs of classic B&W's :eyebrows:
