Bumpy bump
Highly recommended upgrade to the 1210, the difference is immediate and obvious.
Takes about 15-20 minutes to fit even if you don't have a clue, in fact I fitted mine in under 10 minutes the second time I had to do it as I'm no DIY Wizard [emoji6]

Is that the one you purchased off me , Super kit indeed , It does take the 1200 1210 to a differet level , When I purchased this new I think I paid £500 so a proper bargain at this price :eyebrows:

Yes Al it is:). It s a very worthwhile upgrade and to be honest I think its a good price for someone. I will just keep it and put it back in my turntable if it doesn't sell. Shame really as someone could be getting the sonic benefits out of it.
Hi Mick,
Some Technics T/T user, who wants to take his or her T/T to the next level sonically, really needs to own this bearing, so I've created a 'heads-up' sticky for you in Techiepedia, linking to your sales thread here (see below). Hopefully someone there reading about Techy mods will see it :)

Thank you Marco:D
Hopefully someone will realise how important this bearing is to the turntable.
It's ridiculous that it hasn't sold by now!
Come on folks, when's the next time you're going to see a minty MN bearing like this for sale so cheaply.....??
Marco.
When I sold mine it took a while.
I really think that the interest in modifying the SL1200 is dropping right off, as the basic decks are getting very expensive.
Sure, but there are still plenty of folks out there who already own (bought and paid for) SL-1200/1210s, and who don't know what they're missing, and how it will transform and improve the sound of their T/Ts, fitting one of these superb bearings! :)
Marco.

I thought it would have been snapped up by now as its an amazing upgrade and cheap at the price. Wont find many of these for sale. I found removing this from the Techie and putting the original back in was a shock and how poor the standard deck sounded after been used to this. Though a costly upgrade when new Mike had a good ear for improving the bearing thus transferring the 1210 to a different level.
Indeed, Mick. And as I said elsewhere, you hearing how detrimental to the sound refitting the original bearing was, is testament to the efficacy of Mike's - and also that the stock one is compromised, simply due to being (understandably) built to a price.
Can there be any better advert than that for what you're selling? I think not ;)
Marco.
