In October 2008, I dismantled my entire system and mains distribution prior to major building works. Whereas my hifi has been up and running for some time, only recently have new carpets, carpentry and support platforms been completed, sufficient to say that 'enough is enough', and no further changes are likely, except to the kit, though I intend to move the amplifiers back to the wall when I get longer I/Cs.

The board that you can see adjacent to the kit holds eight patresses connected to eight dedicated 10mm twin & earth going up and over to the garage.
It has taken virtually eight years, two large building jobs and quite a few hassles to get here. Luckily the carpet and underlay haven't affected the dynamics negatively, although it seemed at first that it had.
Next step, apart from re-routing the tuner and TV cables outside, is upgrading CDP (maybe only with DAC) and/or climbing up the Koetsu ladder.

Sorry, the captions are all over the place ! Believe me, achieving the above computer jiggery-pokery simply wasn't possible without my very patient and more digitally-minded wife. The photos themselves took three goes !!!
