A while back I almost sold my usher s520 speakers, I felt the need for something else, like you do. However I felt the offers wernt good enough, though to be fair the offers were probably the going rate.anyhoo I kept them and have just plumbed them back in, I don't think I've given them a proper go on the end of my Cambridge power amp, I'm soooo glad I kept them, a great match with the Cambridge amp:)

For what could be described as budget speakers ithink they're great, they have their limitations mind

Almost bought some s520 speakers once, going very cheap. That guy kept them too. Never heard them, but seen many a good review. What would you say are their limitations James?

Well although they can rock if you crank em up, i suppose the small drivers hold them back, so it seems to me,. Still make me smile

Def need a bit of grunt up em too, worked ok with a quad 306 but needed more clout, the cambridge 651 power works great, though i hear nad and some tubes work really well
