Cables to trade.. QED Signature XT I/C - 2x pairs

Had these for 3 days and they aren't for my system.

These are the top of the range QED cables and they sell for about £120-£150 a pair, I have 2x pairs.

they come with their tarty boxes and are pretty much as new condition.

I'm after a swap for some similar VDH/Chord/atlas etc type cable.

Or

I'll swap both pairs for some 5m speaker cables.

Hi Marc

You need to give these at least 50 hours run in. They will sound very different when run in. The previous version was the same.

I have some of those and they are very good for the £100 they originally sold for.

I would stick with it, and if you don't like them then, then flog them.

I just swapped them with some guy on the Wam for 2 pairs of my old Silver Spiral. They sound pretty much the same in my system.

I do think it's because they're doubled up... 1 pair from my DAC to the pre and another pair from the pre to the power.

On their own they sound fine, but both of them in the system , along with my bright speaker cable, and it pushes the sound too forward in the mids , almost gritty and edgy.

I'll leave em plugged in until someone makes an offer , but I want to go back to VDH warmth :)
