On Sunday 15th, LIDL will be offering this tool in limited quantities as one of their 'specials'.
I have a similar item. For some soldering jobs they are indispensable.

Bought a similar thing from E-Bay for not much inc postage from China. It's OK but the little wing nuts can't be done up tightly enough to stop it slipping. That Lidl one, though, looks a lot more substantial and better made. If only we had a Lidl nearby.

I've one that came with my iron. I scoffed when I saw it but as I've the occasional yips it comes in very handy.
In case people are looking for these in general, they are known as "Helping Hands". :)

A good pair of helping hands like geoff posted is really useful for holding stuff steady when soldering, terminating an RCA phono plug is a prime example
