Most singles nowadays seem to be so-and-so "featuring someone else". The someone else, usually Stormzy, makes a random intrusion midway which has little relevance to the original song.

Another phenomenon which was picked up by Radio 5 last week is how modern singles often don't have an introduction, ie the vocals just bowl straight in.

Kids today, they don't know what they're missing ;)
