Have you considered using a BNC to RCA Phono adaptor?
Have you considered using a BNC to RCA Phono adaptor?... Which you can get for a pound or so from any Malins store, that's what I have done. Works fine.

Hi Geoff Okey dokey I will give that a try. Any discernible loss in sound quality as opposed to using a dedicated cable?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I understand the audio nervosa issue about using a cr*p cheap adapter, but like Geoff says they really are just fine.
I use RCA/XLR adapters in my current setup and they are as near as damn it transparent as far as I can tell.
I've used those BNC adapters as well.

They come in gold plated, if one is fussy.

No Degradation in sound at all...you've heard my system pete.....i'm using a bnc-rca adapter with the Kimber D60 coax....What are you doing with this thing? If it is instrumentation then the possible deviation from ideal impedance might be significant, but if you are attempting to listen to audio through (for example) a USB to BNC interface and need a BNC to RCA connector fed by a cable under a few metres long then no chance it can possibly make any difference. Don't worry yourself, the problem won't be the connector!
