Does anyone use or can recommend a stepdown transformer that is totally quiet and or does not make a hum? the deck I will be using will only consume 14Watts.
Thanks.

Don’t know if this would suffice. If so, its yours for the postage cost.

It was supplied to me by mistake.

PM if of interest

I have used that type of device and been quite happy it. I'm pretty sure they're a switch-mode power supply type of thing rather than a transformer but they're fine for low power jobs. I think Maplin sell something very similar. A lot cheaper than most transformers are.
