I am new. I have also found a Sugden Connoisseur BD1 with an SME iii S tone arm and Shure VN35HE cartridge.

I am trying to make it work!

Hi Richie. Welcome to AOS.

The BD1 plus SME III is an unusual combination, but it should work well enough and be easy to set up. Start a thread in the Analogue Arts section and outline your ideas. You should get some answers.

Tell us what other equipment you use and what music you like.

Have updated my profile.

My System is:

NAD C 345 Amplifier
NAD PP4 Phono Stage
Linn Majik 109 Speakers
Chord Rumour Speaker Cable
Chord Chamelon RCA connectors
Sony CDP 101 CD Player

(Connoisseur BD1 if I can get it going OK)

You need to update location in the box on right. can be done in your profile settings etc.
