Hi,
Pretty rare beast two monoblocs from Etalon.
A lot of tube like juice come out those mono's.
They look really nice with the wood cheeks.
They has just been serviced (invoice available).
Around 8 years old.
Original packaging.
Enough said ;-)

Hi. Are these bridged stereo - looking at the photo they have left and right inputs I can't give anything at all about them online.
Also are they class A/AB? What output?
Can you take a photo of the internals?
I'm interested depending on the above.
Adey
Hi Adey, I will send pics of internal tomorrow. Yep they seems to be bridged stereo, afaik Etalon works around the same boards ala lfd.
Afair output is around 65w but I must check at which impedance.

Thanks. I've searched but cant find anything. If they are class A it will say on the chassis somewhere I would have thought.

From what I can find http://www.etalonacoustics.com/amplifiers.html I think these are almost certainly Class AB.
I'm basing this on the power output versus the size of the case (read not big enough for big heatsinks for that output at Class A).
almost no details on the web, part of the Etalon charm ;-)
they are the same gen as Suprampli who was 40w @4ohm Class AB as stated here:

this is the real guise of a Class A Etalon> http://www.ebay.com/itm/Etalon-Integral-1A-HC-Class-A-integrated-extremely-rare-no-Pass-Sugden-Krell-/253172294557?hash=item3af23ea39d:g:HOIAAOSwykRZdw4 k

Yes that looks great but I want power amps grrrrrr - I guess I could bypass the nasty Alps. But I doubt it would be better than my current class A Hiraga.
I'm thinking of moving away from valves altogether - might be putting my Cary 805's in Private exhibitions in the near future.

Gosh I love simplicity. If only class A... Sigh...
Well they work better than a famous class A with huge heat and heatsinks....in my set-up ;-)

If you were closer so I could try them out or they were priced so the loss might not be so bad if they failed to suit then I'd give them a go. Really it will be November when I have the cash to buy - October's funds are allocated to the Reed arm - unless something very special comes along....
Like the October Kiseki?

I wanted the kiseki but was offered a very very good deal by Bel audio the distributor for Allaerts here in Spain.

Hi
My daughter is looking for a Slagle preamp
Would you consider selling it?
Regards
Ian
Hi Ian,
Only if it helps selling Etalon's,
Sorry
