Modwright SWL9.0SE Valve Preamp.
Comes with a One4All mini remote as standard to control volume/mute, 2 pairs of stereo outs for bi-amping , 3 inputs + a tape loop and a HT Bypass loop.
I've never really gelled with unit this since I bought it and so I'm going to pass it on.
I got it from ebay in September '09 for £830. When it arrived it had a damaged power switch and needed new valves. I contacted Modwright and had a new switch fitted and have also replaced the valves with new Raytheon 5687 last week.
The preamp now works great and the casework is in 9/10 condition.
I don't have the box so would prefer this to be collected from Preston, Lancashire. If you absolutely must have it posted then I will box it as best as can be but you will take responsibility for insurance/courier collection.

I'm after £750 or best offer (please note: No silly low ball offers will be taken seriously) or may trade for a solid state preamp, a matching Classé Audio one to go with my power amp would be an ideal though may consider anything else if it visually matches my power amp and doesn't look like it's been through a warzone.
I also have a spare pair of JAN/Philips 5687WB tubes which have about 3 weeks use on them to go with this amp as spares, though they sound slightly veiled to me soundwise.
