Hi all,

I'm restarting this thread due to the drift in topic, previously. So let's keep it sales focused [emoji23]

Fabulous condition, full working order and complete with new 5 din plug. Please inspect the pictures thoroughly.

Fantastic tonearm which deserves its status as "one of the best". No play in the bearings and sounds fantastic. Can be used with pretty much any cartridge apparently. I have a headshell weight I'll include and the SME to Linn mounting plate will come with it. Original Mono crystal arm wire, which has no sign of corrosion and sounds wonderful. A classic.

nothing of great value seems to be selling at the moment unless its dirt cheap,i couldn't shift my pioneer tt for love nor money.

I know mate. It's ok, there's no rush. I'm Sticking a modded AT 1010 on the new (to me) SP10 and the guy I'm getting it from is happy to wait for the Alphason to sell. He's a good guy.

Hmm, with all those comments off people stating how good this arm is, it's quite surprising it's still here. Can't get a Alphason 100MCS for £600 anywhere!!! Oh well

It's the same all round. Not just Hi-Fi. I keep an eye on cars and bikes on sale. Same story. Time of year partly, folk broke after hols and also saving towards xmas.

I just couldn't resist any longer.

Looks like I'll be doing the same as Jamie 12 3 since I have the mission 774 I brought off him a few months ago waiting to fit as well.

I will start a thread on my progress. Now to find a TD124 sme arm board.

I have a feeling the Alphason will be staying put for a long time.

Based on other people's findings I'm sure the Alphason will out perform the mission and I think the classic S shaped arm will suit the TD124 better.

There was a lot of Asian interest and bids but they were all loaded with suspicious amounts of feedback. One guy got in touch from Wigan and said he designed the arm and wanted it. Somehow it didn't happen so you've benefitted. To be honest, if I wasn't looking for a slightly longer arm, I wouldn't have been selling. A good price too. I'm sure you're gonna love it. Do let us know how you get on with it.

It was the flagaship of the previous shelter line and many consider it as the top cart that shelter produced. There are many reviews over the web to get info about it .

I have another HR100 mcs on my TD160S and thought it would be interesting to setup yours on my Pioneer PL 520 DD...Pity I came in too late..Never the mind I'm tired of the fixed headshell arms that make the swap of cartridges a nightmare. BTW I also have a mission 774 staying in the box, ready to go...
