No original box, just the dac but will be well packed, selling for £550 incl postage.
This is one of the most popular high-end DAC’s on the DIYAUDIO.com forum. These dacs are incredible!!
This is the spec with the Lundahl transformers.
The output stage is totally passive and sounds like no other solid state dac out there. Very clever design!
As the output stage is passive and has a very limited number of components, swapping these out makes a big difference to the sound. Cap is 10uF and the bypass 0.01uF so can be upgraded (this unit is stock though)
Jumpers inside the dac can switch it to balanced outputs if wanted.
Remote works perfect. On switch on the dac volume comes on about 30% then one can set the input and volume via remote or the face of the dac.
Only negative is with the off switch on the dac which sticks a little (hole a little snug) but does not matter if using the remote for standby. If one kinda flicks the switch off it is fine - likely needs alignment internally so it does not rub the cover/chassis.
