It's OK here. Not particularly sunny, but 19C is comfortable enough. Just done an hour in the garden cementing some bits.

Weird. It's actually milder outside now than it was at 9.30 this morning, despite the clear sky. 12.5C am 14C now.

The weather can't make its mind up at the moment. It was murky and drizzling when I got up, but now it's sunny and pretty windy. The clouds are zooming past and there's black sky approaching. Fairly mild at 15C though.
Same here, sunny then bucketing down, then the same again, so you can get hee-haw done! :doh:

Just been trying to do a bit outside, but I keep getting rained on every ten minutes! :rolleyes:
I would like to apologise to any visitors to Cornwall this summer who have experienced the very poor weather. Every time I have attempted to get on my motorbike rain clouds have appeared out of a clear blue sky and dumped their contents on me. Clearly I am a rain God(copyright Douglas Adams) and rain just loves me.

The 'summer' weather has generally been rubbish across the whole of the UK this year.
I was in Cornwall visiting my brother in spring and it was reasonably decent then. Shortly after I got back it all went downhill. Coverack amongst other places, being washed out by flash floods and that's only round the corner from him.

I was right about rain coming. It must also have been pretty windy last night, some potted plants have been blown over.
Quite nice out there at the moment. Bright and sunny, if not too warm at 14C.
Pretty cold out. The heating has been going on all day.

Cracking day here in Wrexham! Sun is out and there are lovely blue skies. Not the warmest, though...
Never mind, if the weather's ok over the weekend, we're going for a run to Durham (and surrounding areas), to see the castle and do some shopping, as someone said it was nice there. So I'm looking forward to it :)

The only properly hot spell was a short time in the third week of June, when it reached 35C (which I hated). The rest of the summer was nothing special.
Not the nicest here at the moment, but we're hopeful for our trip tomorrow to Durham. Apparently, it's particularly picturesque around Ivesley Cottages, Waterhouses :)

I think our memories maybe a bit selective about the weather. The first 10 days of wimbledon for example starting on july 3rd was sunny and hot, even Mr Federer after his magnificent
fortnight remarked how lovely the weather had been.

It did that to me yesterday, except it let me get a couple of hundred yards down the street before it started. Bright and sunny up to that point and the pavements were bone dry. Spitting for 30 seconds then full on deluge. Stopped about a minute after I got back into the house.

One of them instances where I could take the car but it's only a mile and a half round trip & I condemn people for always jumping in their car just to drive round the corner. It has actually rained now so maybe it'll clear up.
take a brolly or a hat. Ive a wide brim Aussie waxed hat for wet weather. always have a brolly in car too but hat gets the nod now as I only have one hand usable. Hoggs of Fife make them.

think you would suit it. Its just a matter of both you and others getting used to a new look I guess. Initially you feel like everyone is looking etc but you get over that self conscience bit

There's a guy who wanders around a local shopping centre wearing one of those flat peak baseball caps with bling on it, backwards and yanked to one side. Also a white imitation leather jacket with bling on, long shorts and bright red trainers.
This idiot is about fifty and looks as though he's raided his twelve year old son's wardrobe.
I have to admit, every time I see him, I soooo want to punch him.

Did you know that the word 'Jaunty' is a phonetic interpretation of the French word 'Gentil', which is pronounced sounding virtually the same. The 'G' sounding slightly softer. Gentil means nice.

Had the odd moderate shower now and then, but nothing heavy.
In case anyone was concerned about my hatless, umbrellaless expedition this afternoon I got the bus down did what I needed to do (which involved buying a miniature basketball & hoop & being vaccinated for typhoid, tetanus, diphtheria & polio), heavens opened while I was there then I walked back in bright sunshine.

It actually looks a nice day out there. Very sunny and clear. Cool yet, but I reckon it'll warm up.
Gorgeous day here in Wrexham, so using the opportunity to do some work in the garden, in readiness for the winter, one of which is rebuilding and painting our log store, as the existing one is all rotten.

A bit of a different start today. A mild 19C out there and the earlier light rain seems to have gone. Looks like it could get sunnier too.
Nondescript grey start but brightening up nicely now.

Been OK here, dry all day, not cold, was able to cut front grass just now. Yesterday was hot, spent most of the day hacking sown the jungle of a back garden, including the grass, can't really call it a lawn as it's got uneven over the years. I'm a bit knackered today!

Dull and depressing here :( ( and thats just me ;) ) the weather is crap as well :)
was nice yesterday and is sunny again but must have rained overnight as the ground is wet. Got a big blanket of garden waste to go to the dump and garden is pretty much perfect now after a little remodelling.
