*** SOLD ***

I’m selling my QUAD FM4 HI-FI Tuner, in very good condition and full working order.

Late model with grey buttons, serviced in March 2011 by Quad.

It has a few scratches and marks on top of the unit but is in very good used condition.

It comes with the owner’s manual.

I’m looking for £100 included next day delivery.

If you have any questions please ask.

Many thanks.

Yes, it's what I use as well.

Damned fine tuner at a beer-budget price. I don't expect this will hang around for long.

Good luck with the sale.

Didn't want to derail the sales thread so haven't commented before, but I do have an observation about the tuner as I have one myself.

When I was doing some temporary linking of my system I found a distinct loss of bass from the tuner. It turned out I was going into a much lower impedance than before, this was the problem.

The output capacitors are quite a small value, 0.22uF, this was the reason for the loss of bass into a lower input impedance.
I changed them to 1uF and the problem was cured.

I'd forgotten about this but yes I recall Rob Holt mentioning this as a must do mod on these a few years back on pfm. Good tip Alan
